Alternative Space is an established family business specialising exclusively in the design, manufacture and installation of high quality and envionmentally friendly garden rooms.
Wherever possible we select our materials from eco-friendly sources, concentrating on renewable materials. We only use timber and timber-based products from responsibly managed forests, sourced from suppliers who can demonstrate FSC, PEFC or CSA certification or accreditation.
We also recommend having a living roof on our garden rooms. Made from sedum, a hardy and drought resistant flowering plant, a living roof provides the perfect insulation for both summer and winter. It attracts wildlife, replaces vegetation otherwise removed from the site, and reduces rainwater run-off.
Not only are they great for environmental and practical reasons, they look good too!
